JVF Phase 1: Building public awareness of the great value of the region’ s cultural heritage

2006-2007-2008:JVF initiated, programmed, branded and delivered the Jaipur Literature Festival as a festival within a festival in 2006 and 2007 to widen its audience base. When the Government of Rajasthan requested JVF to deliver JHIF in end March, to coincide with Rajasthan Day, JVF separated the Jaipur Literature Festival from its parent body JHIF and handed design and production of the Jaipur Literature Festival to Teamworks Films (later Teamworks Arts) in 2008 to be its Producers and continue to deliver the JLF literature component as an independent festival in January, when the weather supports a daytime event of this nature.
